Summer is almost over, but Spruce St Harbor is still open. If you have yet to visit the pier that was renovated and opened only a year ago, you still have time. Spruce St Harbor park is located at the cross streets of Spruce and Columbus boulevard. Spruce St. Harbor is a free and family fun way to spend a cool Saturday afternoon. With jumbo sized games of chess, checkers, connect four, cool tree lighting and fun hammocks to relax in.
Spruce St. Harbor Park also has many food choices like pizza, peanuts funnel cake, beer and more that are pay as you go. Also, the Blue Cross roller Rink is only a block up Columbus Boulevard. The park is open daily from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00 am on weekends. Every second Saturday classic movies are shown on the big screen and you can sometimes catch free live bands playing right on the pier. The park is open until October 1, 2017 this year, so there is still plenty of time for a visit.
